Steril Milano - closure of facilities

Steril Milano* safety announcement

Steril Milano’s top priority is the safety of its customers, its employees and the environment.

Following a review of operating procedures and safety standards, Steril Milano has closed its industrial sites in Monza and Reggiolo to carry out an investigation and taken steps to strengthen the quality control processes at its Biassonno site.

Steril Milano has also informed the relevant Authorities, providing them with all information and full co-operation. As a result of the closures, the TUV has suspended the ISO certifications for Steril Milano’s three Italian plants.

Steril Milano is in close contact with its customers and is committed to reopening the sites as quickly as possible once any remedial action that may be required has been taken.

* Steril Milano was acquired by Ionisos in June 2019. In 2020, Steril Milano represented approximately 9% of group revenues.
